Suomen Tekojää Launches U.S. Operations
We’re proud to announce the next practical steps on our growth journey: Suomen Tekojää has launched U.S. operations through a joint venture with EnerRacks Inc.!
EnerRacks, headquartered in Texas, will deliver CO₂ based ice rink refrigeration skid packages with integrated heat reclaim systems. We also provide industrial cooling solutions for multiple applications.
The technology is based on Tekojää’s proven, new-technology CO₂ system already operating in more than 100 ice rinks worldwide. In total, Tekojää has delivered more than 1,000 ice rink projects throughout its history.
“The existence of more than 6,000 ice rinks in the U.S. indicates a strong potential market for our energy-efficient solution utilizing natural refrigerants”, says Jerry Mansikkaviita, Strategic Development Lead at Tekojää / EnerRacks, who plays a leading role in our U.S. market entry.
